GeoCaching! its fun…

and a great way to walk a little more, My Little man loves this.

Geocaching is a world wide GPS treasure hunt, if you have an iPhone, Android, iPad it makes it so much easier as you can down load the app, there is a free version and also one at a cost of £6.99, I recently bought the full app and its well worth the money.

Whilst out and about it has made it more interesting for Little Man to take notice of the little things around him, the wildflowers (even the weeds) explore different places we have been but in more depth.

You can log all your finds and also collect coins or travelbugs (TB) that others have left but they need to be moved on, We recently purchased a TB and are tracking this online, it has travelled 100 miles already.

A few images of the different flowers we have found and Little Man running around.

I haven’t linked with Fiona from CoombeMill for a while for her #countrykids linky so I am today 🙂 x

  1. Geocaching seams to be the latest countryside idea. I must say it looks like a great way to add a bit of adventure and purpose to a day out in the countryside. You have clearly got the bug! Some lovely photos of the wildflowers and play along the way. thank you for sharing on Country Kids.

    • We started it about 2 yrs ago but only having the iPod and no Internet on it made it more difficult, so iPad has made it better for us and will be leaving a cache or travel bugs when on holiday 🙂 xxx
